The Glasshouse College
On the 3rd of December Spinndrift launched their album at the Glasshouse College in Stourbridge. The glasshouse is a residential college for young people with learning disabilities. Spinndrift have played at the Glassshouse twice, and both times have sold out! Fynn grew up in the area and he and the band have worked with local choir "Stream of Sound".
Karen Tweed and Friends
In 2011, Spinndrift will be doing a series of gigs with Karen Tweed, who has been a great supporter and friend of the band. Karen is a world renowned piano accordion player, one of the first tunes Spinndrift ever played together was one of Karen's- a tune called "Only Viveka".
